The S3100VX is Samurai Jeans' uncompromising tribute to the "Great War" (World War II) era, reimagined for the modern denim purist. Built on the framework of the legendary S3000VX, this model combines a vintage wide silhouette with the brand’s proprietary 17oz "Zero+" Bushido Denim, a fabric engineered specifically to yield the most dramatic, high-contrast fades in the world.
 
The Fabric: 17oz "Zero+" Bushido Denim Woven on vintage shuttle looms under extremely low tension, the "Zero+" fabric is defined by its irregularity. By using uneven No. 5 cotton yarn for both the warp and weft, Samurai creates a gritty, "snowy" texture known as "slub" and "nep."
  • Texture: Rough, crunchy, and full of "loom chatter" right off the shelf.
  • Fade Potential: Known for shogyo mujou (impermanence), this denim sheds indigo rapidly, creating vertical "falling" fade patterns (tate-ochi) that look like cascading rain.

    • The S3100VX is a reproduction of the 1940s "Great War" fit. It is significantly wider than modern standard straight cuts (like the S710XX or S0511XX).
