The Fabric: 15.7oz "10/2" Slub Jersey The secret to this hoodie's unique "dry" hand feel lies in the yarn. Samurai uses Open-End (Air Spun) No. 10 Yarn, a thick, irregular thread usually reserved for heavy canvas or denim.
The Construction: Two strands of this No. 10 yarn are twisted together to create a massive equivalent No. 5 yarn.
The Texture: Because the yarn is spun using air rather than tension, it traps pockets of air between the fibers. This creates a fabric that is crisp, dry, and incredibly slubby (textured).
